The DARK DOG rider Claudio Corti was the latest rider joining Team Alstare Suzuki to defend the colours of Suzuki in the Superstock 1000 World Championship.
He started racing at an early age in the Italian series until 2005, when he advanced to the Superstock 600 European Championship, winning his first title. Since 2006, the young Italian has been racing in the Superstock 1000 with Yamaha, achieving several good positions.
2009 was his first season together with Team Suzuki and DARK DOG and a lot of new challenges were to come. But Claudio showed his fans, sponsors and Suzuki itself that he is at the level of a top team as Alstare and finished the season with a sensational second position overall on the previous year constructed race track of Portimão, Portugal.
