Duells Sno Pro Team & DARK DOG

The Duells Sno Pro Team was created in the spring of 1995, in Sweden, born out of Duells (a snow parts and accessories distributor). Lars Johan Edh, Snow Cross champion for seven times, was invited to work as manager and, thus, the team was formed.

Since the 60s, Snow Cross racing has been popular in Scandinavia and, in the last few years, thanks to its popularity in the Winter X Games, it has been considered a "new wave" sport. Practised not only in cross country skiing arenas, but also on traditional Motocross tracks, the biggest events can attract up to 10,000 viewers – that is to say, an excellent exposure opportunity for DARK DOG. In 2006, DARK DOG sponsored the team for the very first time. The athletes reached the 3rd place in the national championship. The Duells Sno Pro Team raced the Pro 440 class, which is much more competitive than the 600 class, providing the adrenaline that riders and spectators love in this kind of sport.

Team members were Dan Lang, who comes from a successful down hill skiing career and holds seven years of Junior Swedish Championship experience, as well two years in Snow Cross, Jeff Oijer who combines his experience from the 2005 Junior Swedish Championship and team member Lina Kaasalainen who has achieved the 2nd place in the Ladies National Championship for four consecutive years.
